Each product is handcrafted in small batches by me in my workshop in Saarbrücken, Germany. The materials are sourced from Germany and Europe – for the best quality and to support local suppliers.
Since the products are handmade, there may be minimal differences between individual products.
Notice
Please note that leather is a natural material; slight variations in color and texture are normal and make each product unique. I do my best to represent the colors in the photos as realistically as possible.
Vegetable-tanned leather develops a patina over time and can therefore become darker.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I only work with vegetable-tanned leather?
I only work with vegetable-tanned leather from Italy and Germany because it is particularly durable and produced using traditional methods. Compared to chrome-tanned leather, it is more sustainable because vegetable tanning agents are used and harsh chemicals are avoided.
Vegetable-tanned leather is robust, ages beautifully and develops a unique patina over time – it is made for products that are meant to last for many years.
Where does the leather come from?
For my products, I exclusively use leather from Germany and Italy.
The Italian leather is certified by the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium, which preserves sustainable craftsmanship. Learn more here:

The German leather comes exclusively from German animals and local tanneries. The leather is certified and audited according to the LWG Gold Standard.

How does the leather feel?
Vegetable-tanned leather often feels a bit firmer at first. This is perfectly normal and a sign of its durability. Over time and with use, it will become noticeably softer and mold to your body.
It can be compared to a high-quality leather shoe: initially it needs a little time to "break in", but later it fits all the better.
Depending on the product, the leather thickness is approximately 1.2 to 2.0 mm, so everything remains dimensionally stable without appearing stiff, and I can guarantee that the products will last a long time.
How does leather change over time?
The leather darkens slightly over time and develops a natural patina. Small marks, creases, or changes in the surface are part of this and make each piece unique. Your bag won't remain pristine, but will become more personal and vibrant with use.
How does the leather react to water and everyday use?
Leather is generally quite resistant to water stains. However, should it absorb more water than usual, it's best to let it dry slowly in a dry, warm place.
All finished products are treated with my own leather conditioner, providing additional protection. If needed, you can later re-condition the leather yourself using commercially available leather care products to refresh its water resistance.
